About Doug Does Magic
I spent my first 15 years in St. Louis Park, MN. Just before my sophomore year of high school I moved to Duluth, MN. and believed I had a future in professional baseball. I played competitively through college and then a few injuries put me on a different career path. I spent 40 years in the corporate world and recently retired. I watched my children compete in sports and the arts through the years and really enjoyed how they captured the audience and put smiles on both the audience members and their own faces. It seemed much more intimate than playing baseball. I was introduced to magic a number of years ago and I was totally captivated by the art and skill of the magician. I showed a trick to a colleague whose reaction told me that I should be doing magic. I love seeing the smiles and the big eyes of wonderment on spectators faces. My day is made when I perform, and a spectator says " You Made My Day"
